MTV re-boots their voting system for Movie Awards 2012! Fans are no longer in control!

(if picture is yours, let us know so we may give you proper credit)

MTV has not made any official announcement as of yet, but according to THR, they are changing their voting system/nominee system for the upcoming Movie Awards this June. This meaning that fans will no longer be in charge of who is nominated. And that the iconic best kiss or best movie awards might not go to Kristen and Robert and Twilight, like the last 3 years in a row. They will have a "academy of actors, producer, and agents along with other industry insiders to vote on nominees. Voting begins May 1 and will be weighed equally between the "academy" voters and the fans. "

The MTV Movie Awards is classing up its act.

For the venerable celebration of Hollywood’s 21st edition in June, multiple awards categories have been dropped, a few others added, and the network has installed an “academy” of actors, producers, agents and other industry insiders to vote on nominees and winners, including a “breakthrough performance” award voted on by directors. Although the network won’t reveal voter names, the panel strategy is similar to the one used for the annual Video Music Awards and is designed to broaden the nominees and winners and lend some credibility to an event that has been criticized as merely a venue for Hollywood to promote its summer blockbusters. Voting begins May 1 and will be weighted equally between the “academy” members and fans, though as usual, viewer voting for the night’s top award —“movie of the year”—continues through the live show on June 3 from the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City.

“We want to make sure some of the unexpected, smaller, quirkier films have a chance,” says MTV president Stephen Freidman.

Co -Stars of Josh Hutchwrson says he is Dreamier than Robert Pattinson Do you agree?

huh..I don't think so
*NOTE* This post is in NO WAY putting down the Hunger Games Series as a whole.
Jennifer and Josh were recently asked a series of Yes or No questions by Josh Horowitz of MTV, and she admitted that Katniss probably wouldn't be able to beat one of the vampires from Twilight in a battle unless she had a silver bow and arrow (of course, that would really only work on Taylor Lautner's werewolf character, if the silver bullet legends are to be believed).
But Jennifer Lawrence emphatically said "Yes" when Josh Hutcherson was asked if he's dreamier than Robert Pattinson, even though The Hunger Games hottie doesn't agree that he's more gorgeous than the brooding Brit because he doesn't have a sexy accent. Luckily for Josh, Jennifer thinks it's sexy that he sounds like a hick sometimes.
