Basically first they talk about Cosmopolis by David Cronenberg and Kristen Stewart being in On the Road
A couple's Event Kristen says It would have been strange if people didn't comment on that. The fact that we both have a movie here now that the Twilight movies are done shooting. But thankfully for us, our movies completely outry anything like that, that we don't feel concerned. Anyone that think this ... this is so not concerning us, we don't care.
Cosmopolis will be screened at the Grand Théâtre Lumière (invitations only) on May 25th at 8:30am, 1:00pm and 7:30pm (the last screening is right after the cast walks the red carpet).
On the Road will be screened on May 23rd at 8:30am and 7:00pm.
There will be another screening of Cosmopolis on May 26th at 2:30pm at Salle du Soixantième.
I have to say how much i wanna watch this film, i'm currently reading the novel and i know why so many people is supporting this film i think is a great story and hopefully the movie will be as great as the novel.
Once again congrats to Kristen, and Rob ofcourse. So excited for them both.
I had already posted this trailer, only difference now is the official Canne's logo at the begginging. Check it out below.
As you may know by now, Robert and Kristen's movies have both been selected for the Canne's Film Festival Comeptition next month, if you missed it go HERE for all the deets.
Now, Canne's Blog, has taken to their site to write about Robsten's "possible" appearance.
Are you guys excited for a "possible" Robsten sighting/pics @Canne's next month? I sure am!!
Announcement from Canne's Official Blog:
"This morning, the official 2012 Cannes Film Festival Program was announced in Paris.
The news that created most excitement with the general public was probably that "Twilight" and real-life couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will attend the festival.
The couple won't appear together in one movie, however. Pattinson is starring in David Cronenberg's "Cosmopolis", while Stewart is part of the cast on "On the Road" by Walter Salles.
Of course, the next big question is: at what date will Pattinson and Stewart be in Cannes? Unfortunately, that won't be known until the festival schedule is published - and that may take a few more weeks!
What is already known: There will be a public red carpet ceremony where Pattinson and Stewart appear. However, the screening of their movies won't be open to the public."
Finally Kristen's Poster is revealed, just before the announcement that OTR would be competing in the Canne's Film Festival next month, though we kind of guessed that thanks to the "Canne's" logo on the upper left hand side ;) Check out the poster below!
Cosmopolis and On the Road have now officially been confirmed for Canne's, which means May will be an epic month for all ROBSTEN fans out there, as they will more than likely be there together, and possibly competing against eachother!
Congratulations to both Robert and Kristen, they deserve everything they have coming their way! Finally the recognition they deserved beyond Twilight!

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have a date on the French Riviera.
The official lineup of films selected for the 65th Cannes Film Festival won’t be revealed until April 19, but the Twilight stars can book their flights because both have movies debuting at the fest, which kicks off May 16. Stewart’s invite comes courtesy of On the Road, director Walter Salles‘ adaptation of the 1957 Jack Kerouac novel that defined the Beat generation, while Pattinson stars in David Cronenberg‘s Cosmopolis, the screen version of Don DeLillo‘s novel about a fateful day in the life of a wealthy financier.
The official announcement won't come until April 19th, for sure.
At the last Berlin Film Festival, the seller of the new film by David Cronenberg had an incredible promotional reel of his film.
And now, they not hesitated to announce an alleged date: Cosmopolis will be released in France on Wednesday, May 23rd!
This is the first film distributed by Stone Angels, the company of Pierre-Ange Le Pogam (former No. 2 EuropaCorp), which can not neglect the effect media at Cannes. The potential rate of assistance: 99.2%.
