New Stephhanie Meyer fan pic.

Stephanie Meyer recently demonstrated that she's just as much of a fan girl as any of us, by attending the signing of Jenny Lawson. More deets below via:lion_lamb

"Author Jenny Lawson, who recently published a memoir titled Let’s Pretend This Never Happened, blogged about her experience where Twilight author Meyer made a visit:
We sold out of books in the first half and I signed everything from tongues to metal chickens to xanax bottles, but the most bizarre thing I signed was this…
That totally sweet and normal looking woman? Is Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight series, who flew all the way out to come to my reading and surprised me so much that I got all fangirly and started rambling about how I dressed up as a werewolf for the last movie and then I misspelled her name on her book. True story.
Lesson here: Be less drunk when you’re signing books. Also, Stephenie Meyer has a complicated name and very pretty hair."

Stephanie Meyer speaks about issues with Lionsgate!

Stephanie Meyer has taken to her website to talk about certain rumors making rounds. If you guys remember I posted a couple of days ago about someone saying Stephanie was upset at Lionsgate, and that she had NO intentions of making another book. WELL, she has spoken on her website, and this is what she wrote:
"Hey all,
Just wanted to clear up a little rumor making the rounds. I have absolutely no issues with anyone at Lionsgate. Far from being a negative thing, it's actually a very nice feeling to know that both Lionsgate and Summit would like to make another Twilight movie if I were ever to write another Twilight book. So, thanks for the support, Lionsgate and Summit. I look forward to working for the first time with new friends at Lionsgate and working again with my old friends at Summit!
Steph"

So there you have it, straight from the creators mouth! Or website in this case! lol How exciting. Another possible Twilight film. Is that a good thing or bad thing? Sound off Twi-hards!

Screeshot after the cut! Or you could go HERE to her website!

No more Twilight Movies, says Stephanie Meyer!

While discussing how The Hunger Games box office might compare to the box office performance of The Twilight Saga films, Variety’s Josh Dickey mentioned the following very interesting blurb:
As long as we’re on topic: Stephenie Meyer was deeply annoyed that LG brass said they’d do more TWILIGHT pics. She has no such intention.
Despite the fact that Lionsgate would surely love to produce another money making Twilight film, Stephenie Meyer doesn’t appear to plan on writing more books, and Rob has said he’s likely too old to play Edward anymore. I’d say, don’t get your hopes up!

Stephanie Meyer Updates her website!

It's been a while since Stephanie last posted something (personally) on her website! She has just updated it! And she talks about the 3 imp. projects going on in (or that kept here busy) which are Austenland, BD part 1&2, and The host! For more details on that visit the link below!

Hey everybody!
I know it’s been a long time—way, way too long—since I updated my site personally. 2011 was a bizarre, lovely, and insane year and I didn’t spend nearly enough time where I should be—here at my keyboard.
Here is a pretty good visual of where I usually was instead. Note the thirteen layers of weather protection. In my very limited experience, watching movies being made is almost always a cold, wet business.

Since I’ve been M.I.A. so long, I thought I would do a little “my summer vacation” essay for those who are interested—though it’s really a “my last whole year away making movies” essay, with occasional camera phone illustrations. I’m going to break this down into three separate pages, as my time has been spread across a few different projects.
