“Bel Ami” Failed At UK Box Office

The drama, which also stars Uma Turman and Christina Ricci, crawled to No. 9 in the UK Box Office over the weekend, collecting just £296,341 – not even enough to beat John Cusack’s ‘The Raven’, which opened at No. 8 to a £299k gross.

The Number 1 film in the country is Disney’s ‘John Carter’, which took £1.9 million to topple ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’s £1.8 million.
All of last week’s Top 6 descends one place, with ‘The Woman In Black’, ‘This Means War’, ‘Safe House’, ‘The Muppets’ and ‘Project X’ filling positions 3-7 inclusive.
‘The Artist’ rounds off the Top 10.
